1. for myself as a teacher: I intend to be happy in classes and I intend to learn English at CELIN, too.

What makes a happy teacher?
When my students like English, I feel happy. When I do my work correctly, I can also feel happy. When I can see successful students, I feel happy. When we like teaching, we feel happy. I love to be teacher!!! I love my students! I love to learn! So, I am very happy!!!

What is it to be a happy teacher?
I think that a happy teacher is who that, before entering the classroom, has got a smile on his / her face because he / she is enthusiastic about the job. A happy teacher is the one that achieves his / her goals in the classroom. But more important, a happy teacher is someone who makes the students passionate about the subject that s/he teaches. It is the teacher that is remembered by the students as someone that has a positive impact in their lives. I want to be this kind of teacher.

What are my intentions for this year?
Eu já cheguei a fazer lista de coisas que gostaria de realizar na minha vida pessoal, (isso parece mais fácil porque é bem objetivo) . Eu posso dizer: pretendo que meus alunos gostem das aulas, pretendo que eles aprendam, pretendo que eles façam tudo o que for proposto, pretendo que eles se dediquem, pretendo.... . Tem tanta coisa que a gente deseja que aconteça. Sei que posso desejar muitas coisas isso não é o mais difícil. O difícil é enxergar a realidade e assim pensar em o que farei, como farei para que o que espero se realize. Isso também é complicado porque depende de mim e também do aluno. Para responder isso sem fantasiar seria preciso um planejamento real do que vou fazer e isso ainda não fiz. Acho que temos que pensar por etapas. O que pretendo para o primeiro bimestre, para o segundo e assim por diante.
Tenho que confessar que a minha cabeça ainda está pensando: será que vou continuar até o final do ano? Como você já sabe ainda não temos a certeza de nada. Fui contratada a princípio para trabalhar por 30 dias.
Acho que esse ano será um ano diferente e o que realmente pretendo é conseguir realizar o meu trabalho de forma alegre, carinhosa e responsável (se eu ficar até o final). Teremos alguns desafios com o tão desejável livro didático. Trabalhamos tanto tempo sem o livro que agora temos que aprender a trabalhar com ele.
No futuro acho que os alunos terão um ganho enorme na aprendizagem do inglês com o uso do livro, mas a realidade de agora é que o livro será bem puxado para eles.
Pensei em pedir para eles escreverem algo do tipo: Como era o ensino de língua inglesa na sua escola sem o livro didático e o que você espera que mude com ele?

O que me faz feliz é:
* Ver que meus alunos realmente aprenderam. (Estou podendo perceber isso melhor porque trabalhei com muitos deles no ano passado)
* Perceber ao final da aula que as estratégias que utilizei, o modo como organizei as minhas aulas facilitaram a aprendizagem do aluno;
* Quando os alunos participam, perguntam e se mostram interessados em saber mais;
* É querer me aperfeiçoar, me preparar para a aula de forma a me sentir segura e confiante naquilo que estou fazendo;
* É poder fazer parte do PECPLI, onde posso aprender e estar no meio de pessoas que de alguma forma se identificam uns com os outros.

For myself: I want to do more than simply offer grammar lessons and I want to keep my students interested in the learning process.

What makes a happy teacher: Keeping students motivated is one of the biggest challenges we face, so when I realize my students are interested in learning, when they ask questions, try to use the language I fell so happy. I think a happy teacher is someone who loves what he/she does and show it to his/her students.

What are my intentions for this year?
For myself as a teacher: I will take care of my healthy because I’ve been working a lot. This year I decided to work only in one school. Then, I’ll work less and with quality. I’ll have pleasure and involve more with my students.
For my learners: I will improve my knowledge day by day to make difference in my student’s life. I love English and I want to do my best for them. I asked my students to do a text talking about them: what they like, dislikes, what they wish for the future. I’m impressed because some of them described how much they love me, how I am important for them. Some of them said that I am the best teacher they’ve had in their lives. It makes me really happy.
For Pecpli: I learn and do everything to improve my life as a good teacher. Sometimes to be a teacher is difficult but when things get bad I know I have my group of teacher and certainly I am supposed to overcome these sad days.
I love Pecpli and I know how much I’ve been improving since I started to go to the meetings.

A happy teacher helps her/his students to like what is being teaching. So I teach English and I make all them to like English. When I see their eyes shining for something I've said or I've done, it makes me happy. When they realize that they learned something and understand what it means, it makes me happy. So it makes me a happy teacher and I can also learn with them.
